The Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery (J Minim Invasive Surg; JMIS), the official journal of The Korean Society of Endo-Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgery, is a peer-reviewed and open access journal. JMIS is published quarterly (15th day of March, June, September, and December) each year.
It aims to provide surgeons with the latest and advanced information on practice and research in minimally invasive surgery.
Its scope includes laparoscopy, endoscopy, robotics, minimally invasive surgery, and newly emerging surgical technologies and techniques in the field of general surgery. Medical therapy, radiotherapy, and basic research manuscripts can be considered if they display a clear interaction with one of the fields above or assist the surgeon in optimizing patient care.
Its regional scope is mainly Korea, but it welcomes submission from researchers all over the world.
