Abstract

Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is a standard procedure for symptomatic cholelithiasis. Merits of laparoscope are less invasive, postoperative pain and early return to work. Also, Laparoscopic cholecystectomy was known as less intraabdominal postoperative adhesion or fibrosis than open cholecystectomy. We experienced a case of intestinal obstruction from adhesion that had taken laparoscopic cholecystectomy due to acute cholecystitis 3 years ago and reviewed the associated literatures.
